Specific questions on repair policy on TV

I understand I have 30 days to return a television.  Does that mean 30 days from purchase, or 30 days from delivery? If the (special delivery)  television  is bought online and is defective, am I responsible for the return shipping cost?  Does Best Buy consider a Plasma TV with one dead pixel defective?  How about one stuck pixel?  From what I gather, there is no advantage to exchangin a defective television rather then returning it for refund and purchasing a new one.  Is that true?

Thanks

Re: Specific questions on repair policy on TV

30 days from the day you received it. It has to be more then one dead pixel to be defective under the black tie, 3 within one inch I believe. And returning for a refund to buy a new one and exchanging it are the same thing (if you buy the new one the same day.) Unless you mean exchanging under a protection plan, that fulfills your plan.
As a former employee of Best Buy my opinions are my opinions, and not those of Best Buy.

Thanks. Do you know who pays for the return shipping cost if returned within 30 days?
