My mom went in for help connecting her laptop to her flat screen so she could download movies. She's doing her best to keep up, but she's 60. She was asking for help. Salesman sold her $70 worth of cords that weren't compatible. She said he didn't even ask her what kind of TV she had.
By the time I got there to help set them up, it had been over 30 days. (They were a Christmas present for my dad). None of it works so we tried to return it. She had all the packaging and the receipt. They said no.
She had decided to buy an apple TV instead. Would have bought it at Best Buy, but after you guys refused to rectify the problem- you picked out the unusable merchandise- she decided to go to Apple instead.
You lost a sale and a family of customers.

They sold her a VGA adapter to a Mac laptop, a VGA cord and an audio cord that doesn't hook up the tv (or frankly any tv? It used a headphone jack). Her plasma TV does not have a VGA input. She needed HDMI with an additional audio hook-up.
We just had her go wireless instead of buying all that.
