I purchased a new HP Laptop on 5/13/11 in Savannah, GA and this promotion was active. I moved on 5/22/11 to Seattle, WA and am still waiting on my code.
Upon closer inspection of my sales receipt I see that my email address was input as "@gamil.com" instead of "@gmail.com" which would explain why I haven't received the code.
I have the original sales receipt and can't return to the Savannah, GA store to correct this. Can anyone here help me? I'd really like to get my code.

I love those photo books so I understand where you're coming from.
Sorry about the typo. A Community Connector should be along in 3-5 business days to try to help get this sorted out for you.
If you'd like to try to get a more immediate resolution you could try calling 800-Best-Buy to see if they can get this fixed for you also.

It looks like I am not the only one who this type of issue so hopefully mine can get resolved too. :-)

The same thing happened to me and this is the 2nd time around. I bought a apple desktop computer about 6 months and had to go throught this service to get my code. Now I bought an ipad about 1 moth ago and have not received an email yet.

i aslo received 2 of those one for my eee pad i bought and for a laptop i bought and i never recieved a email and they have my correct email how do i get these codes?
i really would like to be able to get them!

Sorry to hear that you have not received your codes. Can you please send me a Private Message with the following information?
1) Customer Service Pin (towards bottom of receipt) if store purchase or BestBuy.com order number (starts with BBY01)
2) Your email address

I was unable to use my promo code with shutterfly because the code has been used already. Called the customer service & was given another code. tried to use it but got the same message: code has already been used. I hope you guys can help me because i don't want to spend another 15 mins on the phone while this problem is being resolved.
