Can someone tell me what the policy on reviews is?  I have been watching a device and reading the reviews for a couple months.  While i have watched it a number of the existing reviews have disappeared which has drastically changed the rating.  Literally the number of posted reviews has gone backwards!  The specific product is the Samung Central Station

There were a bunch of reviews early (like at least a dozen) and now there are 5...what gives?

While I cant give you an exact reason I would assume inappropriate reviews (foul/vulgar language) would be removed. Or older ones that are no longer valid if there was a particular issue with a product that has been corrected by the manufacturer.

Doesn't jive.  Actually the reason i was looking at it was the positive reviews that seem to have disappeared!

A lot of times the reviews are for an older model or a different model and they get removed when somebody notices it isn't for the right product.

Or if it is found out that someone is putting up extra reviews of something they don't have, or posting multiple reviews of the same product. Or if they mention a competitor or something.

Again, i guess i can understand maybe one or two of those, but literally there were over a dozen reviews up there (maybe more) and now there are 5!

I looked at a lot of different products and I didn't see any reviews for any of them older than 6 months. So there might be some type of automatic pruning going on. I don't know for certain though. Even the iPad 2 only has the last 6 months.
