Returns

Hello,

I am trying to return my 8GB 2nd generation apple itouch. But, I dont have the receit. Can I still return it?How?

P.S.--- I also bought a case for it the same day, and I still have the receit for that.  Can it help?

Well, first of all, how long ago did you purchase it? If it's over 30 days, you won't be able to return it, as the policy is 30 days.

 

Second of all, depending on how you purchased the iPod and case, the store may be able to pull up the transaction. If you paid with a debit card, credit card, or used your Reward Zone account (if you have one), the store may be able to pull it up. If you paid with cash, it may not be possible to pull it up, but sometimes the stores will try. It would be up to the store to attempt though.

As Miranda said if you purchased the iPod more than 30 days ago you would not be able to return or exchange your iPod since our return or exchange period is 30 days from the date you took possession of the iPod. There is one exception to this which is if you are a Reward Zone Premier Silver member you have 45 days from the date you took possession of the iPod to return or exchange it.

Miranda was also correct that as long as you used a Debit Card, Credit Card, had your Reward Zone card scanned at the time of the purchase, or if you purchased a Geek Squad Black Tie Protection plan to cover repairs beyond the manufacturer’s warranty period any Best Buy® store should be able to get you a copy of your receipt for you. Your receipt would be much harder to find if you purchased it with Cash, Check, or a Best Buy® gift card and sometimes we are not able to find a customer’s receipt at all if one of these forms of payment were used for the purchase.

The receipt for your case might be helpful, in order to find your receipt, if the two purchases were made on the same register back-to-back. I would be more than willing to try and locate receipt information for you, and I am sending you a private message in order to gather some personal information I would need to locate that information.
