lol im lucky enough to have a receipt from the gas pump more than an afternoon. so trhen why is best buy selling an hdmi cable for 150 when you can get them for 13 dollars??? something doesn't sound right, and worst of all, id reather return all of the cables i got from best buy and buy them for 13 dollars online..but oh wait, i lost the receipt... this was the worst 350 bucks i've ever spent..

Was able to Return the cables to the same store. Same Employee, same manager, the only thing different I had my boyfriend return them... Maybe they just don't like women? I was even with him! ..Its a conspiracy!!!

Didn't think I would have to come back and post again but BB never ceases to amaze.........
For those of you who claim they wont do Return without Receipt, let me tell you a story. So I purchased a video game 3 weeks ago, never opened and wanted to exchange for a different one. Lost receipt somehow, happens to everyone right? I've never met anyone who keeps all receipts.
So I go down to local BB yesterday night, I let Customer Service Rep. know I lost receipt but I paid with debit card and I also have Silver Reward Zone, as a matter of fact I used $10 off coupon. So 1st CSR asks for my debit card, phone # and date of purchase. He checks and says he couldn't find it, so he asked me to go and pick out game. He says he'll do "No Receipt Exchange". At this point I'm thinking, he better not offer me lowest sale price. I ask him to check again and he says he can't find it. So I head to Video games, pick out game and return to Cust. Serv. Desk.
Wait in line and a different CSR helps me out, she was aware of situation, so she proceeds to mention "No Receipt Exchange", once again I explain debit and Reward Zone. She doesn't pay attention and calls her Supervisor for an override.......wait a minute, I thought BB wouldn't do that. So Supervisor does override and she gives me Store Credit, less than what I paid for, as I expected. So once again I tell her about debit card and Reward Zone, she responds by saying other Rep had already looked.
I tell her I won't take Store Credit when they can search for purchase, she asks for my debit card, phone # again. She can't find it, she turns monitor towards me and overlooks transaction twice! She then questions me, doesn't believe I purchased game. So she finds it and says I paid different amount, doesn't take RewardZone coupon into consideration. Again I have to explain it to her. Then she looks into their History Pricing database to see price, finally she selects transaction, receipt prints out and she acknowledges purchase and RewardZone coupon.
So now we have to wait for same Supervisor to cancel Store Credit, he comes up, does override and finally transaction is processed.
BB employees seem to be lazy, they don't pay attention and don't care. Customer Service or the store for that fact was not busy. BB continues to disappoint, I think I will really start looking at other retailers ads from now on. Ridiculous Customer Service. BB should be the same accross the board, makes no sense to turn away customers at one store and other stores accept No Receipt exchange. What's upsetting is the fact that they don't take the time to completely review transactions, one of the previous posters had same issue.
And Alyssa, no disrespect to you or other women, but they probably assume men won't take NO for an answer and they did return/exchange. Glad you got that taken care of.

Because all retailers make their money on accessories. You can either buy the core product at a store and order the accessories, or get everything in one place.

I'm curious myself, I bought a home theater system and a movie for my parents and long story short I should take it back. I can't find my receipt, I paid most of it with cash and the rest on my debit with my rewardzone card. Can I return them and get full cash back without my receipt?
