I went to Best Buy today to return 2 items that I purchased last month (Feb 4) and found out that it was past the 45 day return policy for Silver members. I asked if I could just get store credit and was told no. The items that I was returning are items that are still currently available in the store. I think that Best Buy would retain their customers if they had a better return policy. This used to be my go-to store. I unfortunately will no longer shop here.

Quick question if you're hanging around: Why did you wait nearly 2 months to try to return the items? Just gives off the feeling of someone buying something for a specific event(s) and then taking it back expecting to get their usage for free.

I am a Premiere Silver member myself. However, I do not expect any special treatment or consideration. I know and understand the return policy, and if *I* am too alzy to return it in time, I do not expect BB to give me any special treatment. I think you should rethink your stance. If an exception is made for you, then weher does it end? What is the purpose of having a published policy if it is not adhered to? If you are such a long time customer of BB, then you knew the return policy, and it is not anyone's fault but your own that you waited too long to return it.

yeh he only said items so I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Larger items (comps, tvs etc) have 32 days max I believe, some may have less.

Look, it needs to be said...some "customers" Best Buy can simply do without.
