Today I had with worst customer service of my life at Lafayette, LA store.
First of all only one counter was open and there was a big line for checkout. All of a sudden another clerk came ,opened a
second counter and called the person behind me to check out. The person behind me was a sales person with another customer. I was mad that as some one got preferential treatment just because they work at same store overriding the
customer. I asked the clerk why she ignored the line and called the person behind me for check out. She was very rude with
an attitude replied that the sales person is from another section. I told her that what she did was wrong as I was next in line.
Without any apology, she asked me to come to another counter for check out with same arrogant gesture. I declined her offer and asked for an acknowledgment of her mistake. She brushed me off with whip and walked away saying I care less.
At that time I lost my temper and used f word. Another sales girl came saying that I should not use that kind of language.
I paid the bill and while walking out , exchanged my view of the first sales girl with ? Manager/ second sales girl. She simply said, you are done and " bye bye".
Yes, I used f word once but she was wrong and she never ever cared to be polite and just brushed off my complaint.
The two sales girls did not tried to under stand the frustration of a customer.
All I can say is that I am ashamed of my self for using f word and more so for going to BEST BUY store.
I am done with them and will buy all my stuff from Amazon.

Needless to say, the visit that you had at our Lafayette, LA store is astounding. I'm in disbelief that this type of interaction unfolded and that our representatives acted how you described. If this was the case, then I am so very sorry that you encountered such resistance and unprofessional demeanor. From my depiction, this could and should have been a much more simple and relaxed transaction.
