Add me too. My advice: buy elsewhere, BB customer service is horrible, but if you are still daring enough to buy at BB before you leave the store, open the box and make sure your TV is broken.
BB sold me a 42" that had a cracked screen. Customer service guy was rude, essentially told me I was a liar. His manager was even worse. It was so bad, I left that broken-a** TV in the store and left. BB battled VISA and I said forget it. So all of the complaints here sound familiar. I ate $500 and BB lost me and my family for life.
I'm glad BB is closing stores (but I feel bad for those who will lose their jobs), its because of crappy sales, which is in part due to their crappy customer service. BB is just reaping what they sowed.

Hi User141553,
It is completely understandable that you would be upset that we could not exchange the TV you state was damaged when you got it home, and can honestly say I would be equally upset. Even though we weren’t able to get you the resolution you were seeking, this store should have been professional throughout.
The store was correct that any TV that is damaged would not qualify for our return or exchange policy once the unit has left our possession. This is one reason we should be strongly encouraging all our customers to purchase our delivery service for larger TV purchases.
I would like to see if there is anything I can personally offer, and I am sending you a private message to discuss this. To check your messages you should log into the forum, and then click on the letter icon in the upper right-hand corner of the page.
Thanks for posting,

What about offering a complimentary inspection station?

The customer is welcome to inspect the goods anywhere they like before leaving the store.

Skimmed over or chose not to read the part about the 100 new stores opening, i guess?

Nope I saw that part about opening new stores...it was right underneath the headline which said BB lost $1,700,000,000 ($1.7 BILLION) for 2011.
