Question about return

[ Edited ]

So i bought a new laptop: Dell Inspirion 1318 from Best Buy and I thought it would run well playing World Of Warcraft and I knew nothing about intergrated Video card and stuff like that. Also it randomly crashes while I play the game and it doesnt seem like the laptop for me. I still have the receipt and everything but I have been using it and it has aquired some Scratches I was wanting to mayeb return it and get a Desktop. I wasn't sure if it was way out of policy, Since i work at Game$top I know how electronic returns work. Just wondering if it was possible.

Re: Question about return

If its over 14 days old...its a door stop...BB policy is they won't take anything back after 14 days.  I even tried to tape a 100 dollar bill to my studio laptop...

But if you hear otherwise, let us all know!

Re: Question about return

The Intel X3100 Integrated Graphics card is horrible and not meant for gaming at all. I guess you already know that though.

You could try selling the laptop

Re: Question about return

Hi Dragoon78,

It is true that we offer a 14-day return/exchange policy on laptops.  The policy does also state that items must be in like-new condition so without seeing the extent of the scratches, I don't know if the store would have accepted your return.  Also, because it was an opened, non-defective laptop, your return would have been charged a 15% restocking fee.  Sorry I don't have better news for you!
