Frankly It wasn't much of a disappointment as much as I found it to be very odd. I mean, sure, I can cancel the order and re order another one and other then being a bigger hassle then it should have no harm was done. 

I just think this is a  lose:lose situation for best buy and me and thought there must be a better way of handling it hence my post.

Since I started the thread, Best Buy offer no longer exists which is a much bigger disappointed then the strange process. From the way this thread was going I had hopped that there will some way of doing it the "easier" way. 

Now even if I wanted, i cant do it as the other SKU is dead.
