That’s a great question! In order for Best Buy® to complete a price match for you as you describe, the following must be true: the retailer to which you want a match must be in stock on the item, must have a physical store location within your Best Buy®’s local retail area, and must match their own website pricing. If all of these requirements are met, Best Buy® will happily complete a price match for you. You may review the price match policy here.
I hope this helps!

Hi John,
This is interesting information on this policy. I have a local warehouse store that is offering a package for a dslr for $50 less than my local best buy. My sister went to the warehouse store to confirm stock... they have plenty. I called my local Best Buys (several of them) and none of them would provide a price match.
It seems like the item I want to order matches all of the guidlines you posted above... is there something that I'm missing on this?
Thanks!

LOL..... Check out my post "Had to report my local BB to BBB". I don't know how all BB's are but I know for a fact that mine did not want to match the price and they went as far as telling a lie, that I caught them in and they still did not honor policy. The policy is a joke, they have so many stipulations and when you are able to meet the criteria they still try and weasel out of matching the price.
Report them to the Better Business Bureau, even if you get no resolve in the long run if everyone reports them they will get strikes against them and someone will eventually revise this policy or take them to task for unethical business tactics. It may help someone in the long run......
