Price Match to bestbuy.com

Hello,

There are two questions I am hoping someone can help answer. I recently purchased a 47" LED TV for $1300 in store, and along with that, received a free 19" LCD TV. The promo was that you had to spend at least $1300 on a TV to get the free LCD.

1) Today (the day after my purchase), I saw that bestbuy.com had the TV for $50 less than what I just bought it for, if I take it to the store and ask for a price match, would I lose the 19" LCD since the price would drop below $1300 (even though it is after the purchase)? If so, do I have the option of returning the 19" and taking the price match instead?

2) I bought the 4-year BB protection plan for the 47" TV in store for $240, but when I went online today I saw the plan was only $200. Should the BB store match this online protection price if I take it in?

Thanks for your help!

Ron

Re: Price Match to bestbuy.com

Hello rpmantel,

Thanks for visiting our forums!

I am sorry to hear that the price of your TV is now $50 less expensive on Bestbuy.com.  Our store could price match that for you, if the price on our website is not an “online only” special; however, you would more than likely lose the bundle of the free 19 inch TV.

The protection plan should be the same price online as in our stores.  The only exception would be if the less expensive TV online would bring the protection plan into a different pricing tier.  I would be more than happy to help you resolve this situation.  I am going to send you a private message shortly, so I can gather some additional details.  To view your private message first ensure you and logged into our forums and click on the envelope icon in the upper right hand corner.
