I recently purchased a new home, just closed on it on Nov 13th. I started looking at appliances in October just to get an idea of what I might like to have in terms of washer/dryer and refrigerator. On 10/17/09 I went to the local BB on Millerville Rd, Baton Rouge, LA and in talking with one of the store employees decided to go ahead and purchase since they said to purchase ahead of time so I could lock in my delivery dates because they get backed up around holidays. In talking with the rep they were running a sale at the time that seemed like a good price, I paid $934.99 for a Whirlpool ED5FVGXWS Refrigerator.
On 10/21/09 I was contacted by BB saying that there was an error with the original order and they needed to do a refund and replacement of the of the order but they assured me I would be able to keep my original delivery dates which I was able to keep those for 11/14/09, thank you BB. On 11/13/09, a day before delivery I noticed the refrigerator price was dropped to 879.99 at BB so I initiated a price match which they honored, thank you again BB.
Today on 11/23/09 I was checking prices on a few different other household items I need to purchase and noticed my refrigerator has now dropped to $749.99 at BB. I'm now a few days past the original invoice date (not within 30 days of purchase) so I don't think the store is able or allowed to price match the refrigerator again. I've been extremely pleased with how professional, courteous and helpful everyone has been at BB thus far. Is there any way to get a final price match on that refrigerator? If it were $10 or $20 I wouldn't care, but $130 is a considerable drop and rather frustrates me that I bought a good bit ahead based on the sales rep saying it took take a couple of weeks for delivery since the holidays were coming up.
In the end it was my choice to buy early and I'll live with that and still buy from BB in the future. Can a community coordinator offer any assistance or am I out of luck?
Thanks

You are correct in that the store does not have to match the price, but you can always call and see if they will make an exception. The worst they can say is no.
