Does BB match prices from online retailers like amazzzon.com or NewEggcom? Anyone know? I've called store, called 1800 Best Buy and even sent an e-mail, but no luck.

The only online retailer BB will price match is BB.com. One big reason for this is a online retailer does not have a physical store and insurances for the building, and employees and customers who walk into the store. They do not have the payroll that a brick and mortar store has. You don't have a problem getting a person to look at and ask quetions or get help in the store. You don't have shipping prices. You can just return the TV if you want at a store. If you want to return a TV online who pays the shipping? Do they even take it back? How long do you wait to recieve the TV? Just some thoughts. So is it really worth the savings? Only you know that. To me I want to pay for it, take it home and enjoy now. If I have a problem then I want to be able to get it solved now. Not next week or month.

Hi copycapt,
Welcome to our forum! I'm sorry nobody has been able to answer your question - that's inexcusable, especially with such a simple question. No, Best Buy does not match Internet-only retailers. For our full Store Price Guarantee, click here.

Those who frequent BB on a regular basis know the real answer to this question.
I won't go into any specifics, but it goes without saying that price matches are conducted purely at the discretion of store management.
