So I purchased a new Samsung Galaxy Note phone on 2/19/2012 at Best Buy for $299. Today I found a print ad for another store that has the phone for $229. When I bought the phone the price match policy at Best Buy was 60 days.
So I went to Best Buy and showed the customer service person the ad and my receipt. They tried to do the price match but the computer said I was out of policy (past 30 days)? I brought up that the policy date looks like it changed after I had bought my phone but he said there was nothing that could be done.
Is this true? I have now seen a few posts on here where people were able to get price match after 30 days as long as they bought the item before 3/4/2012. Or is it item specific or something?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

I'm fairly certain that phones only had a 30 day price match policy previously. The 60 days was for some products like tvs $899 and up but I don't think that ever applied to cell phones.

Agree with above. Only TV's HAD a 60, and that is very much over.
