Poor customer service in store and online

I walked into the Spring Hill FL store at about 5:00 p.m. on 10/12/09 to purchase a $1000 camera package, NO ONE attempted to help me. As I was leaving only 1 of the 3 stading at the door said have a nice day. Not did I find what I was looking for or anything. I emailed my complaint and the site says a response in 1 day (24 hrs) until you submit then it says 3 days. I can not believe that in this economy a retail store will let a customer walk out with $1000 dollars, that I was willing to spend. And to top it all off no one calls the customer asking for another chance. I work for a home improvement retailer and this would never happen. I hope to hear from someone soon with a solution to this as the local store is now sold out and I will have to travel at least 40 minutes.

I can assure you this is not the customer service we expect from our associates in our stores, and I’m sure this is even more upsetting after finding out the camera package you wanted to purchase is now sold out at your local Best Buy® store.

I have forwarded your complaint onto the management of this store in the expectation that they will take the necessary steps to prevent this being the experience of future customers.
