You should quit messing around with Best Buy for resolution! File a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, you can do that on line. Did you know they are not an active member of the BBB??

 

Also, you can contact your States Attorney Generals office, and ever a local TV Station that offers consumer support. You can not have any worse luck dealing with a company that breeds issues!!

Thanks for the advice, I really didn't imagine in my wildest dreams that purchasing a television set from Best Buy would take me down this horrendous path of grief. Buying a television set should be an exciting experience.

No thanks to anyone at Best Buy I just pruchased the same television that Best Buy wouldn't sell me for $200 less than their proposed sale price at Seers, the staff were friendly and courteous and were genuinley happy to make a sale. I was very impressed. I guess I should thank Best Buy staff for being lazy and unprofessional and refusing to help me. They saved me $200 by not servicing me. Now all I have to do is get the $2060 back they owe me.

Do you even actually READ the posts of the users you reply to? Or, is it a problem with comprehension? Yes, it would seem that your 'easy solution' should work. BUT, BB is not WILLING to take care of this persons' situation.

dude never call 1888best buy, those people don't know anything about whats going on with your tv, they are just reading you from a script of best buy employees.

 

go in the store, and talk to a manager to see what they can do. try that and let us know what happened.

ask them if they confirmed your cancellation of the tv, how come they can't refun you the $1800, and according to the policy, they will have to refund the $260 if the people never came out and do it.

I did that in fact on yesterday, I was on the phone for 3 hours trying to do just that. It isn't like I wasn't trying to buy a television set from them ...no one had the capabilities of helping me. They wore me out.

I wish I had purchased it from a store, I bought it on line.. A huge mistake...in fact the reps said that it was a huge mistake..your correct..wish I had someone like you yelling in my ear when I started out doing that.
