Poor Service from Best Buy online

Does anyone else experience poor service from best buy online. I recently purchased a 46" Samsung LCD TV and the Geek Squad Service Contract. After three days of total frustration I had to cancell both orders. First Geek Squad charged me $260 dollars for a service they later told me they couldn't do because I was not in their service area. When I went to cancell they then told me they could. The television I purchased was another story. I got a confirmation that it would be shipped a month later that the purchase date and thenI also got an automated call that is was being shipped the next day. The call was static and the only thing I could make out was that it was confirming the shipment. I called the store (5 times actually) and they said the account showed shipement but the warehouse told me there wa sno way it was being shipped as it was never ordered. That was both the Pittsburg Warehouse and the Cleveland Warehouse. After called and spending hours and hours of time on the phone with this company, I cancelled both the Geek Sqaud and the television set. I will never buy from Best Buy and I intend to contact every consumer agancy I know of to alert other consumers of this very poor service. This company should not be in business.

Re: Poor Service from Best Buy online

The company offers no excuses not even an apology for how they ripped me off. I am still paying for a television and a service I bought on line and they never delivered the television set and have no intentions of delivering it. I am really going to be as vocal as I can be about this. Their aim is to rip offf their customers not to serve them. They are the worst company I have ever dealt with in all the years I have been purchasing. No exceptions.

Best Buy Rips off their customers and shouldn't be in business

This company is horrible in how they d business. My recent experience has been utterly horrendous. I am not used to this sort of blatant robbery by a company who claims to be reputable. I have a sever problem with the merchandise I purchased and they offer no help. This forum is just a method for them to make it look like they care about their customers but in reality it is a shield to keep you from getting your point across. The truth is this company allowed me to purchase a televison set and service with no intention of delivering it or servicing it. NO ONE SHOULD EVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY> IF YOU DO BE VERY VERY CAREFUL> WATCH EVERY THING! DON"T LET WHAT HAPPENED TO ME HAPPEN TO YOU.

Re: Best Buy Rips off their customers and shouldn't be in business

As i can see your an employee, but what I don't understand is why you won't do anything to solve your customers problems.. instead you want to argue with them which is exactly how I have been treated by Best Buy all along. When I started to deal with Best Buy my intent I can assure you was not to do something so I could be engaged in an argument with your company, no...suprisingly... I JUST WANTED TO PURCHASE A TELEVISION SET. Instead I got led deeper and deeper into an extremely poor set of business transactions and now I am sitting with an $1800 bill and no television set and no help. I have called well over 11 employees from Best BUY waged several on line complaints and spent in excess of 6 hours of phone time. During that time I spoke to 1 person who was cooperative..Travis in customer relations. The other times the employees were sarcastic and rude much like yourself. Your darn right I am angry, an experience that should have been pleasant...You know the customer is always right... turned out to be a very very very negative experience. This experience was negative on the TV. and the Geek Squad Service..check my complaint record its all there.

This forum is a joke!!! Thought it was intended to help customers

I have written numerous attempts to get assistance through this forum, but my concerns get moved to a out of mind sight. I ordered a television set and a Geek Squad Calibration from Best Buy and them experience has been horrendously terrible. I not only do not have the television set because Best Buy informed me that I had to cancell the order since there was nothing they could do to help me and Geek Squad does not service my area so I was forced to cancel them, I am still charged $1800 for the television set and $260 for the Geek Squad contract. One of the clerks took $25 off my bill for my troubles, small potatoes for the mess I am in with them. I spoke to customer service and they were able to get a store to get me the television set if I drove over to pick it up, but the problem is Best Buy says I owe $1800 for a television set that I will never see. What a mess. I was able to find an e-mail adress for Brad Anderson the chief executive officer at Best Buy I wrote him about my concerns. We'll see if trouble is at the top.

Re: This forum is a joke!!! Thought it was intended to help customers

you should be able to just go to the store and ask for a refund. or just select another tv. the $260 of geek squad is refundable if the service was never done.

Re: This forum is a joke!!! Thought it was intended to help customers

Sounds like a simple enough answer, but for example...today I spent 3 hours on the phone with Best Buy's customer service and the problem isn't resolved. I have a television set I can purchase for the agreed upon price but Best Buy hasn't refunded the money., nor have they refunded the Geek Squad purchase. Believe me if it were that simple I wouldn't be in this forumm pulling my hair out. I did manage to find via some research with consumer advocate groups the name and e-mail address of Brad Anderson the chief executive officer of Best Buy I am going there for assitance.

Re: This forum is a joke!!! Thought it was intended to help customers

At this point, with my frustration flared...I am not going to bother dealing with this cpmpany any more, the aggravation is just too much and not worth it..I'll fight to get the $2060 dollars I paid them in court if need be and buy my television set else where. I did everything I could and in my power to buy from Best Buy but they don't want my business. I don't fear I'll not get my money back... I am just amazed this company doesn't want to take care of customers. God help no one else goes through the fiasco I just endured.

I totally give up!!! I am taking an $1800 loss and doing without the televison

I give up, I just spent three hours on the phone of what has become the worst fiasco of pruchase experience in my entire life, Best Buy is charging me $1800 and $260 dollars of which I cannot get refuinded for a television set I ordered and will never recieve and a Geek Squad service I will never recive but they expect me to pay for. I spent a total of 14 hours of phone time and absolutely no one will help me. I even wrote to Brad Anderson the chief executive officer and with no help. This message is in desperation and just to vent. I don;t expect anything any more from this company. I am going to buy another television of the same make from seers. I have gotten absoltely NO HELP from anyone. I just keep getting the brush off. I get it in customer service, customer complaints, the chief executuve officer of this company and this forum. Literally no one will help me. Seems Best Buy is more in the business of causing grief for its victims than selling television sets to clients.
