Re: PS3

Sanday,

Great question!  It really depends on when it was purchased.  If you are looking to get one now, then no.  Sony stopped manufacturing the 20GB and 60GB models, which supported PS2 games.  The currently manufactured 80GB and 160GB models do not support PS2 games.

Hope this answers your question, welcome to the forums!

Re: PS3

I have had my ps3 for about 2 years now.  They other day I bought a new game and tried to play it.  It will not read any games I put in.  This is aggravating.  Is there anything I can do to fix this problem?  I can play the games that I downloaded but can not play any games on discs. HELP!!!

Send it in to Sony for repair or buy a new one - it appears that the Blu-Ray drive has failed.
