Order Cancelled - how can I get my money back?

I bought a $50 psn card and everything went ok. Then I bought a second one, but I received an email saying that there was a billing problem.

It said : "One or more of the payment methods used for your order has failed to process." And that I could cancel the order before it has been processed.


Ok, so I tried to fix the problem, but it didn't work. Then I cancelled the offer.

Now I received this: "The credit card (or other payment method) used for this order has been credited."

So when I try to buy something, my credit card doesn't work, but when I CANCEL  my order, it works?

So now I'm confused... did I lose $50?

How can I receive this $50 dollars back?

I am in the same exact situation (not psn card but the Diablo 3 C.E. which is $100) and what exactly happened to the money?

Best Buy, how long does it take to put the money back in our accounts, this is URGENT and why do you use such a system? I never had such a thing happen before using any other store.

Whenever an order is placed on BestBuy.com, a hold may be placed on the paying credit/debit card for the order total.  These funds aren’t collected until the order has been fulfilled, but this may have an effect on your available credit in the interim.  If that order is later cancelled – or cannot be completed for any reason - then Best Buy’s role in the transaction is complete and it’s the responsibility of the card’s issuing bank to ensure that any expired authorizations are removed from the customer’s account.  Many banks are able to do so within 2-5 business days, but some (including overseas banks) may require up to one full billing cycle:

That being said, I’d encourage you both to contact the customer service hotline listed on the back of your card if you haven’t already done so.  I have confidence that support reps will be able to answer any questions you may have regarding your respective accounts, as well as provide an overview of each company’s processing times.
