Re: One week after dropping off my phone...

i took it to them the first time for a cracked screen, and when i got it back it had another scratch on the screen (in a different part) and the microphone wasn't picking up my voice correctly. So I took it back, and i just checked the online status and it is currently listed as "Shipped"...so we'll see, hopefully things work out for you, just check your phone when you get it back.

Re: One week after dropping off my phone...

Well they declared my old phone a total loss so they just gave me a new one which is fine by me.

Shazbot711,

I was about to send you a private message with this info, but it looks like an in-store associate beat me to it!  Let me know if you need any additional assistance!

Re: One week after dropping off my phone...

I dropped my phone of 2/28 and have had the same experience. No information, nothing. It is now one month later, 3/28/2010 and I still have no phone and no information. You call Geek Squad and they say you have to call Best Buy. You call Best Buy and they have no information. It feels like a bunch of runaround. This type of customer service is horrible, and I look forward to cancelling my plan when, and if, I ever get my HTC HERO back. I was told like you that it was so much better than Sprint's insurance because you can just walk in and get a new phone. HAHA. You can call and try to get the store to "Escalate" your service, but as you can tell, my escalation has led me to a month later with nothing. The latest thing I was told was if it is not here by 4/1/2010, they will decide whether they can repair it or if it needs to be replaced. My question is what have they been doing with it the last month? I was also told if I cancelled my service while they had my phone they wouldn't repair it. Crazy. My suggestion is, get your phone back, cancel service, and file a complaint with the BBB. Good luck.

Actually Nokia, the Deductible for the Droid (I own one) is $85-90 not $125.
