omFG I broke my IPAD. I had it on my table with a book cover wallpaper. I cooked me some Korean ramyun and accidently put the hot pot on the display. I found out after smelling burnt glass 5 min into eating. Does warranty cover it?

Warranty won't. If you have a supplemental accidental damage/handling plan it might cover it.

If recently purchased on a premium credit card, it might be covered.... otherwise this may be an opportunity to upgrade next month for version 3.

It's possible that this happened, I just find it amazing how many people's iPads broke last year with Black Tie, just in time for the iPad 2 where they asked if they'd get another iPad 1 or if they'd be upgraded.

There's no question we are going to see a rash of busted and malfunctioning i.Pads right about now.

Can I also get a picture of the damage (with the LCD powered on). If you don't have an ADH service plan it's going to matter if the glass and digitizer are broken vs is the glass, digitizer and LCD are broken.
