- it was an oppourtunity for profit plan and simple
- There was no need for applyig late fees to an account that was not outstanding and by historical events was going to be paided-off 3 months into a 6 month same as cash plan.
- And there was no legal recourse from the bank from properly mamaging a debt maintaining client loyalty and satisfaction.
That's it for me and like I said I will continue to spread the word about Best Buy's financing.
Thanks for the feedback and you guys have a nice day
Translation: "They won't break the law for me and risk getting slammed with serious fines so I'm mad and I'm going to tell everyone I know that they don't maintain client loyalty and satisfaction. Businesses, in order to keep customers, should be willing to break any and all Federal Laws if they want to stay in business."

Jimmienomam,
Dude don't get upset about it, I think I clarified the account was not in jeopardy of being defaulted and as such the account was in good standing. The key part I hope for the final time, I don't blame a corporation for making a profit I really don't if my company doesn't make a profit we might as well close the doors. They can have the 13% extra, and as a consumer I don't have to purchase anything more from the company. They didn't want my loyalty or my business obviously, so when some asks me what so I think of Best Buy I will give them my opinion plan and simple.
Have a good weekend man and don't get all bent up. And yes I do read and write T&C to ensure liablity and risk are a minimum for my employeer, but you really don't have to believe me.

My previous translation works perfectly for this one too. NeverAgainEver, I don't think you get it. This had NOTHING to do with them wanting 13% extra or that they "didn't want my loyalty or my business". You just don't want to accept the fact that they cannot apply the payments as you wanted to because of federal law, instead trying to insinuate that they could break the law if they wanted to in order to keep your business. **shakes head in frustration over someone who is apparantly unable to understand such a simple concept**

Mbrguy,
Sigh...alright you win...sorry man I didn't know it was against the law for them not to charge me a $25 late fee on an account that was not outstanding. I should write my Senator about removing the Federal governments requirements for charging late fees. In fact you actually found out why I have not contacted HSBC to re-consider dropping a late fee...it's solely because if a bank drops a late fee they will go to jail. I really couldn't live with myself if that happened.

Lol!!! Dude this website if I put my finger in my ears I can still read what you say...but saying " I can't hear you, I can't hear you, la la la la la la la la la la la la la" is pretty fun,

Actually, I should be the one to appologize. I'm sorry because I shouldn't have been so harsh on someone who is incapable of basic reading comprehension. Before I finish my next point, please go and get someone who can explain what I am about to say to you, as I don't want you to misunderstand me AGAIN.
......ok.....you ready?......Sir or Ma'am (whoever is reading this for the OP), please explain to NeverAgainEver that I stated that it was illegal for a company to apply payments in the manner he/she wanted. I never stated that it was illegal for them NOT to charge a late fee, and if you would look back to the 5th post, my first post, I said that they should actually contact HSBC to see if they will help out in this case and wished him/her luck in getting that fee dropped. Thanks for your time and I'm sorry you had to be dragged away from your other responsibilities. I'll let you go back to teaching your 3rd grade reading comp class now.
Ok, NeverAgainEver, you back with us now? Hopefully they explained this to you in a way that you can understand because I didn't want you misunderstanding me again. If you have any other questions, feel free to post them back here.
