I tried to order a nice display online... but there was no option to have it shipped to me, only store pickup. When I tried to chat with support,. they said that it could not be shipped beause shipping was not an option. OK.
What criteria do you use to decide what can and what cannot be shipped? It is incredibly difficult for me to travel to the city and lug something like this around on the train for over an hour, then walk three miles carrying it. I do not have a car. I travel by public transport and walking. I really wanted to use the gift card I got for Christmas, but now I don't know if I'll be able to without waiting until I am on vacation in another state where I will have access to private transportation.
Is there any way to get something like this shipped? How difficult is it to put a label on something and give it to the UPS delivery guy? I do not mind paying, but this policy makes it impossible to shop online with you.

Thanks so much for reaching out to us about trying to have a particular item shipped to your home rather than have to pick it up in store. I know that I would be disappointed to hear that there was no way to ship the item I wanted, especially when it’s not convenient to pick it up at the store.
With some items on BestBuy.com, shipping is not available generally due to the fact that our warehouses may not have the item available. When an item is selected for in store pickup, it usually means that the store has it currently in their stock and they put it aside for you to come pick it up. Alternatively, when an item is selected for shipping on BestBuy.com, it doesn’t usually get shipped from the store; rather it ships from a warehouse. I can only speculate, however I would assume that this would be the reason why it wasn’t able to ship to your home.

I kept checking back and it finally showed as available, so I placed an order. Early today I got a message that it was on backorder, but a few hours later I got another message that it has shipped. Looks like all is well and on the way. Thanks for your help.
