New nintendo 3ds already registered at nintendoclub

Hello guys.

last sunday i bought a nintendo 3ds at dublin's bestbuy

When i got home and tried to register the game at nintendo Club for the extra 60 days warranty

I got the weird message saying that the game console was already registered somewhere else and i couldnt get the extended warranty

so, here is my question, what gives?

I had just opened the box...

another question:

Shouldnt there be a little serial number inside the star wars clone wars 3 (3ds)

to register it at nintendo club also?

If it has already been registered, return it for a new one.

Wanted to add my 2 cents in here:

This happened to me and what it sounds like with you - since you got the coins, is that you did indeed register it, you maybe accidentally hit the submit button twice,

thats what happened to me.

If you got the coins credit go check in your registered devices list at club.nnintendo you should see it there

Re: New nintendo 3ds already registered at nintendoclub

ZSHAKAZ,

Thank you for engaging our Community with this important question regarding your shiny new Nintendo 3DS. As kneeL previously posted I am only aware of the coins being credited after a successful registration in this sort of instance. It's my hope that the advice that kneeL was able to share has helped you ensure that your registration is complete. The Nintendo 3DS units that we sell through BestBuy.com are brand new, in the box so it should not be registered already.

If there is still a difficulty with your Nintendo 3DS registration please feel free to let me know via private message. You can do so by clicking the envelope shaped link in my signature bar below this post. I appreciate you taking time out of your day to see if our forum could help with your question and I hope that we were able to help you through the confusion you faced registering with Nintendo Club.

Game on!
