Re: Never again!

Area51Kev:-

That is perfect concidering my return period will have ACTUALLY and really expired by that time..

So, by the time I might just have recieved a response (not a solution) my REAL expiration date would have passed..

THAT is simply perfect..almost laughable!

Want to know why Best Buy is going down the tubes?I have the answer...

After spending some time reading the post here, I have the answer to the lingering question of "Why is BEST BUY going the way of extinction?" Look no further than the link below http://forums.bestbuy.com/t5/Best-Buy-Geek-Squad-Policies/bd-p/Policies It is because of people like myself who at no fault of their own are treated like a dead animal on the side of the road.. I know I have an issue pending and I was a little reluctant to post this thread, AT FIRST.. However, after reading the 18 page thread of the EXACT same concern as mine own, I have NO DOUBT my concern will be Met with the same outcome and robot response from BBY....Which is, WHO CARES, TOO BAD, SO WHAT, NOT OUR PROBLEM and so on and so forth.. I will take this IPAD purchase and return it to Apple, I KNOW THEY WILL DO WHAT IS RIGHT, and use this as a learning experience to NEVER USE BEST BUY FOR ANYTHING EXCEPT AN EMERGENCY TOILET LOCATION...from now on I will look for the top competitor of BBY and give them my total financial support..I might even sell some of my prized APPL Stock and buy into the biggest competitor of BBY.. I am not usually one to take things such as my current issue of the " no returns for 90 days" to such extremes, however, I am completely JADED at the COMPLETE DISDAIN.. Unless, I am completely shocked, and BBY Actually does the right thing concerning my "issue", I AM ABSOLUTELY DONE with ANYTHING regarding, Best Buy... What a shame Best Buy cannot value their customers..

Ok, buddy, first off...your link is erroneous.

Secondly, this isn't the "rant" section of the boards. Please let your pending issue run it's course.

And all things will come to an end. That includes Best Buy, your i.Pad, and this planet.

Regards.

Re: Never again!

Assuming your license was the one that was blocked from doing returns for 90 days, why don't you have your wife go in and return it with her ID? Or another family member? They are able to do the return and if paid in cash, will probably receive a mail check as a refund.

I have to wonder yet again, why are BB employees allowed to reply to customer problems when they have nothing to do with this help forum? Look at slimjim77's reply, snarky as h3ll.

It's a public forum. As such, anyone, including Best Buy employees, is allowed to post as long as they are following the forum guidelines. If you believe a post does not adhere to the guidelines, there is a way to report it. Feel free to use that feature.

They are here in the same capacity as you and I, and are not representing Best Buy. The only people speaking officially (i.e. getting paid) for Best Buy on the forum have -BBY after their names and are clearly identified.

Hey Hydrogen, can you stop following me around in threads and replying to me? It is obvious you are just a Best Buy Shill, get off me.

Re: Want to know why Best Buy is going down the tubes?I have the answer...

Nope, I am allowed to respond to any topic I wish on here. If you don't like what I have to say, just look past my comments. If you feel they are against the guidelines, feel free to report them. Otherwise, I will post as I wish.

Best Buy shill, though? Nah. I've never worked for them. I shop there now and then, though. Best Buy is the only local store to me that specializes in electronics, therefore I came here to familiarize myself with the policies and other aspects of the corporation. In my time here, I give advice, clarify issues on policies, etc.  I've actually learned a lot of aspects of Best Buy that I plan on avoiding due to complaints I've heard here (Pre-orders, mainly). Heck, I'll even call out Best Buy when I think they've messed up.

However, I have a few pet peeves that show while I am here.. One of them is people making baseless claims with no proof. :smileywink:
