I recently purchased two TV's and have a complaint with your people. First I bought a 42' lg TV for myself. The next day I went to the same store and wanted a 47'lg and a stand for my parents. It wasn't in stock at that store so they gave me another stores phone number and said I could purchase it there. I did this and it was to be delivered and hooked up. Well, they did deliver it, no hook up.So I called the store and the manager was rude, said how did I expect a driver to know how to hook it up? Anyway, I don't live with my parents so I get someone to install the TV..(and put the stand together)
A week later, and I stop and see my parents, and I see its not even the right TV.Its not even an LG.So I call again to the store and all he can tell me was this was the TV I was charged for. My 42 was delivered and the stand was wobbly, and they didn't even try and hook it up..
Thanks for any help..aj

Hi ajpghnorth,
I've asked Aaron, one of our Geek Squad Community Connectors, to follow up with you. You should hear from him within the next few business days.
Thanks for posting!

If you opted for the promotion that includes "free delivery, hookup, and recycling" the stand assembly wouldn't be included. The Entertainment Center Assembly is a separate Geek Squad service. Also, the "hookup" only includes taking the TV out of the box, setting it onto a preexisting stand, and hooking it up to 1 preexisting source (like a cable box or cable jack). I know the hookup may sound like an install, or maybe this is what you were promised/told by the sales associate, but it's really not. I was confused myself until I read the small print in recent sales ads. I do apologize if I'm the bearer of bad news. ![]()
