Hello, I am trying to purchase a laptop using a Visa credit card. The card was not made in the US, but it is a VISA credit card. When filling out the 'Payment Info' stage, I am lost as to what to do. I tried using the address in Houston Texas that they gave for International Orders, to no avail. Since the address on my card statement obviously is NOT a US State or has such a area code, what can be done? .I reach the 'Review and Submit' stage by typing in the Houston advised address and after clikcing 'submit my order' am told: "Your credit card could not be authorized for payment. Please enter a different credit card." What have I done incorrectly? PLZ help me urgently.

no, m'am.. I am trying to ship to an home in The States.

Ok just double checking. The full texas address has to be used as the billing address so the full street city state and zip code that is listed for that texas mock address. Is your card authorized to be used in the U.S.? Maybe give your card company a call and let them know you will be making an international purchase so they allow it through? Those would be my only suggestions. Double check the availability of your funds as well.

I used the entire adress that they gave me and it didnt work. Next,as you advised, I will call/visit my card company and find out the status of my card and whether my funds are adequate. Btw, I returned a laptop to BBY which i bought online w/ this same card while in the US recently. Do u know how long it takes for the funds to return to my card?

It averages 3 days or so to credit on best buy's end and then however long your card company pends transactions before they refund it.

ok, thx. But if i dont have adequate funds, does that mean they wont be able to authorize it? Is that the message BBY will send me?
