I'm NOT an employee of Best Buy, or Geek Squad, though I did work as an Agent for a year. None of my posts are to be taken as the official stance that Best Buy will take on your situation. My advice is just that, advice.

I worked for that store for about 3 months during school and greg is not the GM.

Always found him to be a nice guy, though.

Well I was told by someone who worked in Geek Squad that his name was Greg since he wasn't wearing a name tag.

Yea it probably was him. He's a middle aged to young guy. The gm of the store is rich.

Was the product purchased at Best Buy? Did the person who purchased it tell you that they purchased it from Best Buy? If they did, at least he could have offered to look up the phone number of the person that bought it for you or even their name. Did he do that?
