Horrible Service

I recently built a new home so I decided to upgrade  some of my living room equipment. I spent well over $6,000 a 52 inch LCD Samsung TV,2 WII's, Playstation 3, Harmon Kardon AVR, Bose center channel Plus wuit a few other things. I purchase the install package and the geek squad came to set it up.

First they hooked up my Bose center channel with an RCA cable.

Second they could not get my PS3 to play Blu ray DVD's. They had me exchange it 3 times.

Third they left wires hanging out of my wall over my fire place.

Fourth they never properly set up my surround sound.

 

They came back to my house several times to fix the problems but, could not resolve the issue.

I had a neighbor come to the house that actually owns an  Audio Video company and diagnosed the problem in 15 minutes.

 

I went to the store and they offered me a $100 gift card... I said no. I had to pay and additional $400 dollars to have someone install it correctly.

 

I asked to speak to a district manager at 2 stores and they would not give me a name or a number. Best buy really stinks. I had at least another $15,000 I would have spent there.

 

Do not use the GEEK Squad. They are worried about volume not quality.

 

They have no customer service. I am a District Manager in the banking Industry and I know how customers should be treated.

I’m sorry to hear about the problems you’ve been encountering with your home theater installation!  I can imagine how frustrating it must be to have had several follow-up appointments without the work being completed.

Vox, I have to agree with you 100%.  I sent my Laptop in to be fixed.  Battery would last 30 minutes tops. 

We also has a problem with the Keyboard sticking.

 

They replaced the keyboard and a Fan, didn't even check the battery situation and that was the reason we sent it it.

 

Got the Laptop back 2 weeks later, the Keyboard wasn't installed correctly, and looked Bananah SHapped, both sides were sticking up 1/4".  the Tech at BESTBUY GEEKSQUAD damaged the plastic surround getting the keyboad to fit.  OH. Now we have to send the laptop back in for another 2 weeks. 

Never Ever do business with GeekSquad or BestBuy.  .

The managers at the store are as capable as a ... nevermind..

Ridiculous Service From The Geek Squad

 I brought my laptop in on 8/15/2008 to the geek squad to repair the problems i had and they did the exact opposite. I am in college right now and i am unable to bring it back to worcester to get a check up. my computer has got worse then it was before and i do have insurance on it so i should have got my laptop fixed. i have been calling and people have told me they would call me back but i never got any phone calls from anyone. i have been getting such bad service from best buy and i am very upset that i bought a laptop with insurance on it and i can not even get good customer service.
