Update 10:00pm CST 08/24/11:
Beginning Thursday August 25th, 2011 stores with available inventory may be offering tickets on a first come first served basis for the purchase of a HP TouchPad. Stores may have select HP-branded accessories specific to the HP TouchPad available, which are currently 50 percent off the original price while supplies last.
Update 11:47am CST 08/23/11:
At this time all remaining TouchPad inventory is on its way to our stores and will be arriving throughout the week. Best Buy will no longer be selling the Touchpad on BestBuy.com, or any other Best Buy channel other than our stores. We cannot share specifics on the timing or quantity of these shipments. As soon as a store receives shipment, it will be merchandised on the sales floor and will be processed on a first come first serve basis.

We are sold out of the HP TouchPad both in store and online and will not be receiving more inventory.

Due to HP’s decision to discontinue its TouchPad product, Best Buy will now provide clearance pricing for all HP TouchPad models regardless of previously advertised prices or promotions.

If I previously placed an order on BestBuy.com will that be processed?
BestBuy.com orders that have been previously placed for the TouchPad are continuing to be processed from available inventory at the warehouse. We will communicate any order status updates via email to the address used at the time your order was placed. You can also check your order status online at www.BestBuy.com. Can I purchase a HP TouchPad at a Best Buy store or on BestBuy.com?
Yes. Best Buy stores will be selling their remaining inventory of the HP TouchPad at the discounted clearance pricing effective immediately. BestBuy.com is currently sold out of both TouchPad models.
If I purchase a HP TouchPad at the discounted clearance pricing, can I return or exchange it?
No. Best Buy will not accept customer returns or exchanges on clearance-priced TouchPads bought through any Best Buy channel (including Best Buy stores or BestBuy.com).
If I purchase or have purchased a HP TouchPad at Best Buy at the clearance pricing do I have a manufacturer’s warranty?
Yes. Customers purchasing a TouchPad at clearance pricing will have a one-year manufacturer’s warranty, fulfilled directly through HP not Best Buy.
If I previously purchase a HP TouchPad at a higher price can I receive a price match?
Yes. Customers who purchased the 16 or 32 GB TouchPad after June 19, 2011 may come into the store to get a refund of the difference between the price they paid and the clearance price. If I previously purchased multiple HP TouchPads after June 19, 2011 can I receive a price match on each?
Yes. Each individual unit purchased after June 19, 2011 is eligible for a price match.
If I purchased the HP TouchPad previous to August 20, 2011 can I return it?
Yes. Customers who purchased the 16 or 32 GB TouchPad after June 19, 2011 may come into the store to get a full refund within our return policy.
If my BestBuy.com order is canceled, how will I receive my refund?
If the order was completed and your form of payment was charged, the refund will be in the same form as your purchase. Refunds will be credited first to the original purchasing credit card or PayPal account, and then to any gift card or Pitch In Card that was used. If you don't have the gift card, call us at 888BestBuy (888-237-8289) to request a new one. If you don't have your Pitch In Card, you'll need to request a replacement card online.
I have an open funds authorization on my credit card, but my order was canceled; when will this be removed?
The timeframe can vary depending on your financial institution.
