Good morning! Nd I was in Best Buy in Orlando, USA in February 2010 and got humBlu-ray players from Samsung brand, no amount of U.S. $ 169.99 + 2 Years Extended warranty not worth U.S. $ 24.99, which occurs not when I arrived Brazil electronic equipment did not work.
Porch nd Technical Assistance Samsung's not here BR, but not a Guarantee applies to my country, not only to the repaired Product. According to officials, What does not worka Card Reader (a most important part), POIs elements on / off, open / close theComponent Where to Put the disc but not read the disc.
In April this year (2011) paragraph'm Returning U.S. (Miami and NY), and would like toreplace the device. How should I proceed?

I am sorry to read that you are having trouble with your Samsung Blu-ray. I believe you state that you purchased a Geek Squad Black Tie Plan (GSBTP), and when you arrived to Brazil the Blu-ray player stop working.
Most manufacture only support their products in the country that it was purchase, so I am not surprised that Samsung technical assistance was not able to provide much help. However, some manufacture can sell you international services which include transferring the warranty to your home country or selling you technical assistance. I know, its additional fees, but it’s an option if you are interested.
If you are planning to visit Miami FL. or New York in April of 2011, I recommend that you visit any Best Buy® store with the purchase receipt to get better assistance. If you purchased the GSBTP, then I recommend that you review our International Coverage post, it covers how to obtain services being an international customer and purchasing a GSBTP.
