Sorry if I'm posting in the wrong board - I didn't know what this would fall under. But I could use some help.
Yesterday, I bought a 50$ gift card at Pharmaprix in Montreal, expecting to buy some stuff online since I don't own a credit card. It wasn't tampered with or anything. A couple of hours after, I tried to use my card to buy some stuff, at first it said I might have made an error entering the code, so I tried again, checking every number to make sure everything was OK. I am certain I didn't do any mistakes, but it was blocked. I tried today, checking every number the first time and it did the same thing, blocking my card again, showing this message, " "We have locked the following Gift Card(s)," followed by the gift card number. When I call the 1-866-237-8289 number to check my balance, I enter the gift card number and security code, and it gives me the balance without any problem. The problem only occurs when I go online and try to buy something or simply check the balance.
I'm confused. Am I doing something wrong? Any type of help would be appreciated, because I really wish to buy some things I found on your website and I can't find them in-store... Thank you.

From the sounds of your post it seems like this is a gift card to be used at our Best Buy® Canada locations. If I am correct please call the number you already contacted and ask to speak with customer service. We are unable to assist you directly since these forums are for our United States Best Buy® stores and Bestbuy.com®.
