Hi everyone,
I am planning on getting a TV for a family member for Christmas and I was wondering about a couple of things regarding Best Buy's policies:
1. If I were to get 325$ in gift cards, could these then be used to purchase a TV later that same day (approximately 5 hours later)? Is there an activation period from the time the cards are purchased?
2. Does Best Buy hold 32" LCD TV's for customers that call ahead?
If someone knows the answers to these questions that would be great! Thanks!

Just to backup what Crystal said. Last holiday Season a local store "Fred Meyer" (I believe they go under different names depending on what part of the country you live in, like Kroger and others). Was doing a deal where if you purchase $100 in gift cards you save $10. So I purchased 10 $100 giftcards and 30 minutes later used them at my local BestBuy to purchase a TV.

Hey Tusin, thanks for the tip! I'll definitely be sure to check that out and see if my local Best Buy has any deals like that! ![]()
