I recently purchased a new pair of The Monster Beats By Dr. Dre Studios, and theyre wonderful. The purchasing process was very smooth, and the attendant was nice, and actually sold me a warranty. he had said that the GSBTP would cover snaps in headbands, blown speakers, and basically the rest of regular wear and tear, save for a fire or water damage. He had said, "The procedure is quick and smooth, come in, if we have any of the same headphones, (either color) then you can give us yours and you walk out with a new pair." This had quickly enticed me, and i spent the extra $40-$50 for the GSBTP. Ive looked all over the internet to confirm this, but ive only found "GSBTP is a fraud", which is exactly why I come here for answers, much appreciated.

That is fairly all accurate. It covers normal wear and tear which the monsters have that habit of wearing and snapping the headband. It does not cover accidental damage like drops or spills. It is a replacement plan so they swap them.

So you're saying that if I do break them or get a blown speaker (my worst fear), I can walk in, give them mine, and walk out with a new pair? Like what the rep said?
