Everything runs slow. When you open Windows Explorer, you get the status bar circle for approx. 5 seconds before it is fully running. Playing basic O/S installed games like Solitaire & Purble Place loads & runs slow. Once they are loaded, the movement within the game is choppy. I attempted to demonstrate this to {Removed per Forum Guidelines}, but he was so unreceptive to my concerns, I was unable to - He was more focused on proving the customer was wrong (and untruthful, according to him) and not working toward a solution. I have, at no time, made reference to the machine being defective. This has always been an issue of being told by a Trained Sales Associate that one of their products would perform in a particular manner, when in the end it did not. I am not an inexperienced idiot who knows nothing about computers. As I mentioned before, I have an educational background in IT (A+, Net+ & MCSE certifications. With that being said, I am sure there will be some Razzle Rouser out there that will post a reply saying "Then you should have known". Before you do, I do not work specifically in the IT field, instead I use that training in my current Law Enforcement profession as a Cybercrimes Investigator. In any case, this is 2010. Technology has come a long, long way. I don't care how you present it or whether you call a processor "Atom". If it can't play a basic game, games that have been running on Microsoft operating systems since Windows 95, then it should not be sold today. BOTTOM LINE.
I am patiently waiting a response from Allan, and prefer not to engage in any further commentary until such time.
Thank you.

I hope you get taken care of. The mods here are pretty-level headed. Stand by.

DKOTLAREK,
I have to start by saying that no representative of Best Buy® should ever be calling a customer a liar, and for this I truly do apologize that this was said to you. I can also understand being upset that this store wouldn’t waive the restocking fee on this netbook when it didn’t meet your wife’s needs.
This store is correct that we would charge a 15% restocking fee on any netbook returned or exchanged that isn’t found to be defective. With that being said I would like to see if I can provide you with a resolution in this matter, and I am sending you a private message to start that conversation. To check you messages you should log into the forum, and then click on the letter icon in the upper right-hand corner of the page.
Thanks for posting,
