To whom it may concern,
I have recently purchased an Apple Macbook pro about 2 days ago. I noticed on the ad this week that you get an Ipod touch 8 gig with the purchase of any Mac. Now, I know it says not valid on prior purchases, but it has just been 2 days since i bought the mac. I was wondering if I could also get the Ipod Touch with my purchase. I've spent a lot of money at best buy, as you can probably tell, over the last year.
I'm almost up to the silver rewardzone membership, and that's just with only half of the year. I also signed up for the Best Buy Credit Card as well. Is there anything you can do to help me out? I like Best Buy and enjoy the shopping experience there, but I would go shop somewhere else if there is nothing that can be done. Thanks for your time, and look forward to hearing from a best buy supervisor.

Okay, I looked over the promotion in the ad, and it states that you can get the iPod Touch when you purchase any MacBook, MacBook Pro, or MacBook Air AND show a valid student ID.
ALSO, if you see the little number "9" next to the word Touch, then read the fine print at the bottom of the page, it states that "Products must be purchased on same receipt." as well as "Excludes prior purchase."
With that said, you're best bet is to talk to the store where you purchased it at to see if they'd be willing to work with you on this. It may be a situation where you have to return and repurchase the items to get the promotion. Don't know for sure. LIke I said, you'd have to check.

Thanks for your response.
Yes, I am a student at a local college and also have a valid ID as well. Like I said, I JUST purchased the mac 2 days ago on friday, so I'm just wondering if they would be able to give me the IPOD with my purchase.

I would go to the store and talk to them, and see if they'd be willing to work with you on it. That's really probably your best bet.

Considering that you couldjust return and repurchase the items (aka you are within the return period), I do not see why they wouldn't be able to do it for you ![]()

Hi bigmac8855601,
It won't hurt to check with your store and see what arrangement they can make for you - let us know how it goes! Be sure to go, however, while this current ad is in effect.
Thanks for posting,
