First, sorry for my bad english. I'm brazilian.I went to Orlando last month with my family and
I bought 3 TV's in Best buy store. I have choosed 2 tvs Sansung 26" and one 32" Toshiba.When I was going to pay , a
saleswoman, called me, and asked me to change a 32"tv Toshiba for a 32"Sansung.She told me Sansung was better.
I said to her that Sansung was more expensive, but she gave me a discount.I was very happy and glad.
I brought it with a lot of dificult in the airplane, it was a gift for my children. Then, no problem.
When I arrived in Brazil and installed them, the problems began.
The 32" Sansung was broken. The screen is soiled. When I check the box,
I felt stupid. It is a return.I couldn't believe that the saleswonan tricked me
I've never had imagine, that bestbuy store would have a fraudulent saleswoman.I can only imagine that she did it because I'm brazilian and she would never see me again. It was very easy to trick me
I wrote to custumer service, and they give a thelephone number that doesn't receive international calls.
I wrote again, and again...They told me to send a letter.A letter? Is it a joke?
Then I find the store number and called.I talked with a brazilian man, very pollited and he asked me to send an email for the boss Regina {removed per forum guidelines}, and she would to talk with Sansung, and switch the tv. I have sent, one, two, and I haventé had a answer until now
I'm felling really stupid. And it makes me feel really bad because my little son, can't watch his new tv.
Why does she make a fool out me?
Why a big and important store as bestbuy can accept it?
I am very disapoint with best buy.

Hello DenadaiM -
Allan from our Social Media team, will be reaching out to you regarding your concern. Thank you for your continued patience!

Hi DenadaiM,
I can understand you being upset that this TV’s screen is “soiled”, and given the fact that you transported these TVs back to Brazil I can see why you are now having difficulties getting this taken care of. I feel like I need some further clarification in this matter.
When you say the screen is “soiled” do you mean it is simply not working, or do you mean the screen is damaged? Did you transport this TV via checked baggage?
If the screen is damaged it would not qualify for a return or exchange (since we require any TV being returned or exchanged to be in like-new condition). In addition if this TV did qualify for our return or exchange policy you would need to bring it back to a Best Buy store in the U.S. in order to get it processed. I look forward to hearing from you!
Thanks for posting,

Thanks, Dan for yur answer.
Now I know it was an open box.No problem if you can do nothing for me.
I just want you know that is a fraudulent saleswoman in Best Buy.
She offered me a defective tv. I do not ask for a discount. She offered me.
I would buy a tv toshiba for the same price 349.99, and she offered me a discount to bring the Samsung because she said sangung tv is better. Sansung tv was 399,00 and with a discount I paid 349,99.I believed that it was a promotion.I've never could imagine that is was a return.
I'm felling stupid.I believed in that saleswoman.
Why she did this to me I do not know. And I will never know.

Hi DenadaiM,
I certainly did understand that it was your assertion that this sale associate purposefully sold you a damaged TV, but that would be almost impossible to verify. The only way to substantiate this claim would be to speak with this sales associate, and they would have to admit that they did this on purpose. As you can imagine this would be next to impossible, and we of course would have to believe one of our associates would not have sold you a damaged TV on purpose.
With that said I would like to see if there is something specific I can do to resolve this for you. I am sending you a private message to gather some personal information. To check your messages you should log into the forum, and then click on the letter icon in the upper right-hand corner of the page.
Thanks,
