Exchange iPod touch with screen protector?

I just recently purchased a 4th generation 8GB iPod touch and I would like to exchange it for a 32GB model. When I was at the store though, I bought a screen protector and had the man helping me put it on. Apparently it is supposed to b permanent, so will they let me exchange in the next 14 days with it on? I know that I can just sell it on eBay and use the money to buy the new one, br I would really like to avoid the hassle. Thanks for the advice!

You have until January 31 to return or exchange the touch. Just take the shield off. Keep in mind it cannot be returned.

That may or may not be true. Our store allows exchanges on the invisishields.
