I've bought a ASUS G73SW notebook in Best Buy #830 while visiting Tacoma, WA last november and a couple of days ago I've been experiencing seriuos troblues with it. In fact, I wont start anymore
The first time it happens I run a starup restore from asus and everything went OK. I used the laptop for 3 days and then it happened again.
I must believe that it's a hard drive issue since there are times that when I turn it on I can get to a memory diagnostic tool that says error 0x0 Hard drive not connected or missing.
I've boot with a win7 cd to try load the laptop and on the hard drive options that the installer showed there wasn't the internal hard drive

Take the unit to your local Best Buy.

There is not a local best buy in Uruguay...

OK...international. Had to re-read it.
You're going to need to contact Asus about where to send this unit for repair.

Yes, I'm on it too but as I bought it in BEST BUY I strongly believe that is something you should do...
I mean, I bought a product on your store...

Best Buy does not manufacture your laptop. Best Buy is an authorized reseller of Asus product. Any guarantee of performance is to be provided by Asus, unless you've purchased additional protection from a 3rd party.

best buy = shop
asus = manufacturer
yep... I got that
even though, I didn't buy in asus... I bought it to you
If I sell you something that it's broken you will came to me to do something about it
e.g. You buy rotten meat at your supermarket... what do you do? Do you really go to the meat processing company?

I'm afraid perishable items such as meat, have little in common with computers. Good luck with Asus on the repairs.

That was just an example, you know what I meant
Thanks for your replies and time

Did you purchase Black Tie Protection on the machine?
