I purchased the dell Streak 7 during the black friday sale and now 3 weeks later it is completely dead. It wont charge it wont do anything internet searches have shown this as a fairly common problem but I am confused on who to contact is this a Dell issue or a Best Buy issue? Now I am even more confused considering Dell has disconitnued the Streak 7 so do I have any options at all, I mean I am assuming it won't be replaced if they are no longer making it, but can it be fixed or is a refund the only option? Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated

Try your best to take it back and get your money. I purchased one the day before black friday and the charger never worked. I called best buy to try to get another charger and they were NO help at all. Mine is heading back to the store today to see if they will take it back. Hopefully i can get my money back and NEVER visit Best Buy again. Let us know how it goes. BTW i have been charging mine with the charger base for an iPad. You may want to try that and see if will charge.

I wish I had better news for you, but Crystal is correct: your options would be to seek factory warranty repairs through your local Best Buy store or to return it within our extended holiday return period. Dell support reps may be able to provide you alternative solutions though, so you may wish to contact Dell at 1-877-293-1197 if you haven’t already done so.
