Thanks Mr B Guy and Nokia,
As I said before, I understand that they can't fit everything concerning their return policy on the receipt. They do have a wall filled with their policy the area of their customer service department that states the 10% restocking fee about the iPhone. I should have read this before buying and I do accept fault for simply reading the receipt. However, they should also mention that the iPhone is not eligible for price matches. The fact that they specifically mention that the iPhone has a restocking fee but fail to exclude it from their price match policy is a glaring inconsistency.
Furthermore, I am upset that I was told over the phone that I would have no problem getting my iPhone price matched, when in fact I had to spend my time only to be rejected.
Potential solutions: edit the return policy, (this may be difficult to change in all posters of the store, but the Sales Associates should at least mention this if Best Buy is not willing to put this in writing.)
Train those who answer the phone to give information that is accurate.
My issue isn't so much with Best Buy's policy. The store can do whatever they want and make policies however they see fit in running their business. BUT they should be consistent and straight forward in their policies, not borderline misleading.

Hello HASSLESGalore,
I was glad to read that you have been enjoying your new iPhone so far. I was disappointed to read that the lack of information regarding the restocking fee and price match policy has put a damper on that enjoyment.
We do our best to ensure our customers are aware of our policies and ensure they are posted on store signage, our receipts and even our website at BestBuy.com. I do understand there are times however where this information could be missed, and I am sorry to read of your disappointment after discovering that the iPhone has a restocking fee if it is returned opened and non-defective.
In regards to the price match of the iPhone, I am honestly unsure why the store indicated that they would be unable to match the competitor’s price, if it met all of the requirements listed at http://bbyurl.us/storePM. While Apple products are often excluded from promotions due to agreements with Apple, it is my understanding that they should not be excluded from our price match policy. That being said, I would like to look into this further with you and I am sending you a private message to gather some additional details from you.
