I have really had it with BB customer service. They make you stand around looking like an idiot for unlimited amounts of time only for them to tell you that there is nothing they can do.
About two months ago, I purchased a computer from BB and bought the stupid plan thing on it. Well needless to say that something happened to it and they refused to fix it. Well I finally convinced my husband to shop there again and we went to a different store other than our local one. We purchased about $3000 worth of merchandise.
Today I seen the ad for the Kodak digital camera and decided I would go down and buy it. When I got to the store I stood there looking at the cameras for about 5 min before someone came over and asked if I needed help. I told them I wanted the camera in the ad and he told me that they were sold out. (The store opens at 10am and I went in a 2pm). So then I asked if he could look at the other stores in the area to see if they had any. He told me that they were sold out as well. I then started to look at some other cameras and he said if I needed anything then to let him know. I found a different camera and was going to ask about it, but he was with another customer. I stood paitiently waiting for my turn and when he was done with that customer he just walked away. I then turned around to see if there was someone else that could help me and he is standing there talking to another customer.
Being a little anoyed, I went to look at the computers that they have to see what the computer looked like that I was planning on purchasing on Saturday. I went back to the camera part because I really wanted that camera and stood there again. Finally someone from another department came over and asked if I needed any help. I offered to buy the display camera that they had and they flat out told me no. Then I asked if they had another camera and she asked the man working cameras and he told her no. They didn't ask if I wanted to see if anyother store had the other camera or anything.
I got home and looked online and found that another store in the area had the camera I was looking for. But seeing as though I have had it with BB, I will go somewhere else and buy a camera and a computer. I just spent 3 grand in their store two weeks ago and I have the same BS happening again.

I'm sorry you had such difficulties getting help from our store representatives while trying to make a camera purchase with us - why they wouldn't do everything possible to keep your sale with Best Buy, either their store or another, is beyond me. Surely that would benefit us both! As this is contrary to what our goals are, I would definitely like to make sure this feedback gets to the right people. Please post the name of the store you were visiting, or send me a private message with this information so I can forward it on accordingly. I agree! I am so sick and tired of Best Buyl. The products are always over priced, break all the time, they try to convince U to always buy their repair plan, the sales people just plain rude and non helpful everytime I go in any BB! So, I decided to give then another chance and I tried to shop online for the first time and that experience is even WORSE! I made a mistake and tried to cancel the purchase less then 12 hours. FIRST, I waited well over an hour for a person to get on the phone and direct the call to someone else (then another 20 minutes later a snob lady with a attitude right off the chain). An hour in a half is SO CRAZY (Get more people to run your phone service)!
"No, Mrs you can't cancel" she told me that it was shipped minutes after I clicked the Yes button but, I just received the confirmation that it was shipped ( 3 days later). What is up with that. Though I can return it at a store I'm still out mileage, time and cost of shipping. I will stick with my initial thoughts about best buy....it sucks.
