Welcome to the forum!

First of all, I want to sincerely apologize for the completely uncalled for comment made by the Best Buy associate. It sounds like this associate is not only lacking customer service skills, but some very basic human decency as well. We strive to make sure that everyone feels welcome at our locations, so this never should have happened.

I am going to document this here at the corporate office and notify the management at that location. It's too bad that we can't attach a name to this, but since you pointed out the date and position the representative was in, I think they will be able to narrow it down. Hopefully we can find out who said this and make sure nothing like this happens again.

Thanks, I guess. I know there's not really a solution since I didn't take the time to get the guy's name but at least management can keep an eye or an ear open for this type of behavior and take care of it.

Oh...they can pin point it. Based on the date and time you were in, cross it with schedules and a basic description of the person and BAM, associate found.

I post on these forums to help. I know that my advice may not be in line with what you believe is fair and just. YES, I do believe that there are employees and managers that are uninformed, difficult to work with...you name it. However, MOST are not like that.

My advice is based on my experiences and common sense.
