Are there any best buy associates still around, I have a question about the policy for a cell phone.

I bought a cell phone on 12/18, and paid full price for it (non-contract), and I determined it wasns't the phone I wanted, yet on the back of the reciept it shows 14 days for desktops, and notebooks, monitors, projectors, camcorders, digital cameras, and radar detectors. Now for silver it says all else 45 days. I wanted to swap it out for a different phone I want, but they told me its a 14 day return policy, but the person who sold it to me didn't say anything, and since it was non-contract I didn't sign any paperwork showing it, and the reciept doesn't specify cell phones... ![]()

Yes, the best buy mobile employee spoke to the manager, I even mentioned that I bought it outright (retail value) and they said no, its 14 days, I called best buy mobile phone number, they told me as well 14 days, and reward zone silver also told me 14 days, but like I said it wasn't stated on the reciept.

The store should have exchanged the device, per our Return & Exchange Policy, on your first request. They were definitely wrong not too and for that I sincerely apologize!
I do see you contacted on of our customer service teams and they were able to work with the store to get the exchange performed.
