Car Audio Amplifier - protection plans

I was wondering what the difference in the two 4-year protection plans was in detail ?

For example, the Polk Audio PA330 amplifier (sku:1007107) has a plan for $19.99 and $49.99.

The two plans, when clicked on for information, show the same pdf file with no difference at all which is confusing as to why one is ~$30 more.

Thanks.

Re: Car Audio Amplifier - protection plans

At first glance, I would say that one is the Basic plan, while the other is the Premium plan. The Premium plan has additional coverages, which may be what the additional asterisks in the brochure are for (i.e., No Lemon, Annual Cleaning, etc).

Hang tight, and a CC or GeekSquad rep should be able to help answer more fully. :smileyhappy:

Well I looked at it and when you click on the link it shows the same exact thing. The person above is more than likely correct and they just have the wrong attachments and wording listed.

I was figuring the same thing mostly.  It seems as if the more expensive protection plan is an online only thing, because in store only the cheaper plan shows up to be added to the purchase.

Re: Car Audio Amplifier - protection plans

Hello bb_audio_stuff,

Thanks for bringing this issue to our attention!  While it’s possible that the higher-priced listing may be for a premium service plan, it’s also possible that the lower-priced one is an incorrectly labeled 2-year plan.  I’ve passed this information along to our website support staff so they can make any necessary corrections.

Let me know if you have any other questions!
