Canon has a new rebate offer for the combined purchase of the Rebel XSi and a lens, which is advertised in the BB ad this week. It has it discounted/on sale for $273 off the package. Canon has an instant rebate for $200 off the combined purchase. The ad does not state it is a Canon rebate. It is not a mail in rebate. Will Best Buy honor this instant rebate off the sale price?

Does it give any sort of stipulation or restrictions about where it must be purchased? Usually the only condition is that it be purchased from an authorized retailer, of which BB is one.

I do see the Canon XSi DSLR with the 18-55mmIS lens, the 55-250mmIS lens, and a Lowepro DSLR bag for sale for $879.97 on the front of this week’s ad. This package price is $273 less than what this package would normally cost at Best Buy®. I also found an instant rebate of $200 off this same package without the camera bag on Canon’s website, but the terms and conditions of the Canon rebate does say it is not valid with any other offer and our package savings would be considered another offer. Unfortunately you would not be able to both get the $273 package savings and the $200 rebate on this camera package.

I should also say that we do accept manufacturer's coupons, but we no longer accept manufacturer's rebate offers. I hope this clears things up.

   Hi!  I have a question along the same line.  I purchased the Canon EOS Rebel XSi camera on

Saturday 5/2/09 for $749.99.  Then on Sunday, the exact same camera with an extra lens and a

bag is on sale for only $129.98 more.  Can I pay the extra $130 and get the extras or do I

have to return it all?

You should be able to get that deal. Call up the store first to make sure they'd be able to do it.
