They're one of the same folks who cry on sites like The Consumerist about how they were in (insert store name) for half a nanosecond and the sales reps didn't telepathically read their minds to know what they wanted BEFORE they stepped through the door and have it waiting for their royal(pain) self and how the lowly retail clerks forgot to bow n curtsey before the almighty that they are.
This is why I'm glad I no longer work in retail. Otherwise I'd have to smack a couple customers upside the skull with a WiiMote or whatever's handy for being rude/ignorant anymore.

Relax, man. I waited 30 minutes in line to spend $10 on a meal, and didn't make a scene.

Not really. I think it's hilarious that I've been in the middle of asking retail employees about something and getting an answer for my question when another customer comes up and butts in and starts asking about X or Y item and then expects the employee to stop answering my inquiry and immediately help them as if I don't even exist and the employee was just talking to themselves. Not only that but they usually expect the employee to physically walk them over to the item and then explain about it and even after that the customer looks like the employee just spoke to them in a foreign language.
Those kind of customers are the dumbest of the dumb. Then again, those are also the same folks who probably buy the replacement/repair plans and the $100+ HDMI cables without blinking an eye.
There's being rude and there's being ignorant and I've seen both and more from some of my fellow customers. That's why I said I'm glad I no longer work in retail cuz I'd have to 'correct' some of these rude mf'ers who insist that their time is gold and everyone else's time is worth squat.

No additional relaxation necessary.
I just find it amusing when I see someone complain about people's rudeness...by being rude themselves.

I certainly don't dispute that there's quite a few rude people out there. Responding with rudeness, though...guess that means you'd consider yourself fair game for a Wiimote to the noggin, too, eh?

Sorry. The bold red print fooled me.
