Best Buy & Geek Squad Policies

Hey I am in a bit of a crunch.  I am a Marine on a base where I can't leave for 2 weeks, the boredom is driving me insaine.  I am a big gamer and I want to buy a laptop but the only one I like is only sold from BB.  So my question is, if I buy it, will geek squad deliver it over here (im like 9 miles away from the nearest BB)?  I would buy online but I don't want to do it just incase I have to return it and just incase no one steals the package in my barracks.

Oh and can I apply for a BB credit card over the phone and get the number right away?

Hey Hahtsauce, You must be going stir crazy all cooped up with no access to gaming!  I am a huge gamer so I can completely empathize myself.   I have looked into your inquiry and I have a few answers.  As far as the Best Buy Card goes, you can apply online and receive a response in about 60 seconds.  The link to do this is found at the bottom of our website; here is a link for your added convenience: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?id=pcmcat102500050032&type=category.   

  

Some stores have the capability to accept credit cards over the phone; however, there is an ‘Authorization to Charge’ form that would need to be filled out and faxed to the store.  My suggestion is to contact your local store, explain your situation, and see if they are able to fulfill this need at that particular location. 

 You mentioned having the unit delivered.  The Geek Squad® does deliver a plethora of products; however, I would need to find out what geographical area you are in to see if the store in your area is able to provide a simple delivery to your barracks.
